18-30" White Pine

White Pine 5 year old seedlings.  Approximately 18-30" tall.
 
All purpose confier that can be planted for timber value, christmas tree production or wildlife enhancement.  Typical height and spread 60-80', but capable of reaching over 100' x 20-40'.  
 
Wildlife Benefit: Gray and red squirrels, deer, mice and 16 species of songbirds have been known to eat the seed.  White pine is frequently used for windbreaks and screens along fields new right-ofways and around campsites.  It's dense foliage provides important nesting habitat for woodpeckers, mourning doves, common grackles, nuthatches and chickadees.
